Study of Internal structure  and functional organisation of plants is called Plant Anatomy.
Every organ of plant like stem, root and leaf is made of tissue. Usually , in an organ various types of tissues are present.A tissue is a group of cells having a common origin and usually performing a common function. In plants tissues are of mainly two types: Meristematic tissues and Permanent tissues.
meristematic tissues undergo continous active cell division and can be either primary or secondary or apical, intercalary and lateral meristem.
Permanent tissues can be simple as well as permanent. simple tissues are parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma where as complex tissues are vascular tissues xylem and phloem.
All these tissues combine together and work as unit to form tissue system which forms structure of different plant organs. 3 type of tissue systems which are epidermal tissue system , ground tissue system and vascular tissue system.
