Proteins are structurally and functionally most diverse of all biomolecules. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Proteins become functional only after they have undergone folding and coiling. Proteins have four levels of structure. The four levels are Primary , Secondary, Tertiary & Quaternary.
Protein can be classified in to different types on the basis of structure or function in body.Proteins are responsible for many enzymatic functions in the cell and play an important structural role.
