Parameters

  • obj − This is the object to be removed from the list.

Return Value

This method does not return any value but removes the given object from the list.

Example

The following example shows the usage of remove() method.

aList = [123, 'xyz', 'zara', 'abc', 'xyz'];
aList.remove('xyz');
print "List : ", aList
aList.remove('abc');
print "List : ", aList

When we run above program, it produces following result −

List :  [123, 'zara', 'abc', 'xyz']
List :  [123, 'zara', 'xyz']
