Biomolecules are molecules which are present in living organisms and form the structure and function. The most amazing thing about a living system is that it is composed of non-living atoms and molecules.Biomolecules are of 4 main types:
Carbohydrates, Proteins, Nucleic acids & Lipids.
Carbohydrates are hydrates of carbon and are major energy source for the body.They are of 3 types : Monosaccharides, Oligosaccharides & polysaccharides.
