Energy in Multiple Charge Groups

Description:

We know the energy contained in different distribution of charges.

For two particle system

U = q₁q₂/4πε₀r₁₂

For three particle system

U = 1/4πε₀ [q₁q₂/r₂₃ + q₁q₃/r₁₃ + q₁q₂/r₁₂]

Similarly, Energy can be calculated for ‘n’ number of charges within a system. This energy does not belong to any particular charge of the system. In electrical charge system the energy belongs to system and can be used by one charge who needs it.
