Properties of Electric Field Lines Start & Terminate

Description:

Electric field lines always start from positive charge and terminates at negative charge but No electric field line crosses negative charge and move towards positive charge. Since these lines terminates at negative charge and do not come back again to positive, so these lines do not make a continuous loop.

Note −

• No electric field lines start from negative charge.
• No electric field lines should terminate at positive charge.
